What was the nature of their innovation and how did it contribute to humankind? David is a Marxist economist and geographer. He became leading researcher on urban geography with the publication of the seminal book Social Justice and the City (1973). He has contributed significantly to the teaching of Marx through books, seminars, podcasts, and free lectures. He has been a constant voice of dissent in the field, providing high-level critiques of capitalism. He has been a prolific researcher and author, and has been actively involved in support for student activism and community and labour movements.


David Harvey is the most original and influential thinker in analysing contemporary global capitalism. He has made outstanding contribution to expanding the reading public's understanding of modern capitalism and the need to replace this global system with a sustainable socialist system.

One of the great living intellectual minds! His works on Marxian theories and financialisation has made immense contribution into the debate related to the impact of global financial capital!!
