We already have applied to the BHF for three defibrillators for the village but need more to fully cover the village and its surroundings
At the moment we have no cover for the immediate treatment of a heart attack. The Ambulance Service can take at least eight minutes to reach the patient. A local defibrillator can resuscitate the heart in minutes. This area is the least well covered by defibrillators, and it is necessary to rectify this fact.
